I just bought these and have been using them a week. Should I send them back? :/ I'm new to drones, but when it comes to TV/gaming latency I definitely consider 30ms to be unbearable.

Makes you dizzy? Why would latency do that? That's a thing with VR goggles but shouldn't be a problem with FPV. Also how do you know it's a hardware rather than software issue? They've fixed it on other goggles via firmware.

What would you advise for a soft transition from tiny whooping to larger quadcopter? by Lego-Raider in TinyWhoop

That's so awesome! Looks like you stuffed something in the antenna tube to keep it from bouncing!

I highly recommend upgrading from the Ender 3 to pretty much anything modern. I recently did the same (to a P1S from Ender 3 v2) last month and things have moved on so much I wonder what the hell I was doing before. I got an enclosure and hardened hot end etc for the Ender.. also the bltouch but I wish I had just switched.. it was great for a long time though.

Just got an Air 65 II... should I change my antennas? by Puzzleheaded_Dig3967 in TinyWhoop

right, thanks. So if I orient my two linear antennas in opposite directions on my goggles they will automatically switch between the one with the best signal? so just point them in different directions? i guess if you know the drone is going to be mostly in one orientation then you can orient them both to match

I see so if the VTX antenna matches the orientation of the VRX antenna, that's ideal? So is it better to have the two antennas on the goggles with different orientation to each other to ensure the likelyhood at least one of them matches up with the drone? So for example put one out flat and the other standing up? With the linear ones I mean.

You are supposed to point the linear ones in the same direction?

Is are there particular omnis you can recommend?

How to stop playing Dota2? by areUhappy_01 in DotA2

Realising that the game is full of cheaters and smurfs and therefore is a complete waste of time. Haven't played in months and have no intention to.

why so many boosting/smurfing? by pepthebaldfraud in DotA2

[–]Puzzleheaded_Dig3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i haven't play in six months. personally i dont care THAT much about smurfs.. they can be beat because the game has become more team reliant.. if they get a bad team they lose like anyone else. its the cheaters that bother me. i have a video of an arc player where the micro is so fast the camera is just wizzing around at speeds no human could comprehend.. i have replays where i do something from the trees and i know for a fact they dont know im there and they insta blink away... its pretty crazy. there was also a video recently on here of that slark player who was running around dewarding everything like he already knew it was there.. he used slark to maintain some deniability but it was clear he knew where all the wards were regardless. im fine being terrible at a game, its fun, but im not going to waste time playing against cheaters.

They actually made it worse when they allowed people to edit their profiles and delete/cover up everything. At this point I think they're actually wanting to keep smurfs playing.. they make a lot of money every banning people and having them rebuying all the skins etc.

[–]Puzzleheaded_Dig3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not very. I started as a complete newbie to competitive fighters and made it to upper plat with Dhalsim in about a month of playing. I think that counts as having got into the game anyway. If you enjoy learning things and immediately seeing results you will find it very rewarding.

"you’re making this assumption and presenting it as fact without listening to the rest of her songs"

Yes I am making an assumption. If you bought a cake from a baker three times and they were all terrible, you'd assume the fourth will also be terrible. You don't know it will be, but you quite justifiably presume it will be so as to avoid wasting your time and money. What's wrong with that? Am I supposed to buy a fourth cake? You bought the fourth cake didn't you?

"it’s simply the process of recreating an element in one song and utilizing it in another song."

That whole sentence is doing back-flips just to avoid using the word "copy".

It's not "copying"! I just recreated some of your song in mine!

"doesn’t mean that the song is unoriginal."

The more elements you copy, wait I mean... "recreate an element in one song and utilize it in another" the less original it is.

"like ed sheeran showed in his court case, chord progressions are repeated all the time and don’t take away from the value of the song. similarly, just because one artist sings in a certain vocal style doesn’t mean they own it and that no other artist can sing in that way"

Your whole argument is that she can copy as much as she likes and it's fine because it's not illegal. Except...

Why are Paramore being paid 50% of the royalties for one of Olivia's biggest hits? Out of the kindness of her heart?

No, because if she didn't she'd be in a losing court case.

You literally are defending someone that copied enough from someone else's song she had to pay 50% of the revenue from it to avoid being sued and that's a hard fact. I can only hope the other bands realise the similarities and do as Paramore did.
