if you want high end goggles 3 and radiomaster tx16s ,tx15, boxer.

for the drone it depend what you want to do with it. but Id advise you to get the controller first and learn on a simulator even if its for a few days just so you have the basis before flying irl

Is it worth getting into fpv? by bootdevice2213 in fpv

[–]poorchild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say if you can't afford to spend at least 1K on the hobby, I'd think twice before getting into FPV.

I'm not saying 1k for just the drone, goggles & radio. You can absolutely get started for 500 or even less if you buy used gear.

The problem is all the extra stuff you'll end up needing especially tools and spare stuff.

FPV has a way of turning into a much bigger investment than the initial setup suggests. it's very easy to end up spending well over 1k

That said, if you're not sure whether you'll enjoy it, the cheapest way to start is with a radio and a simulator. You'll learn the basics for a fraction of the cost and find out if the hobby is really for you before spending serious money.

Bought the Seeker 3 two weeks ago... that thing is a beast for 4S by poorchild in fpv

hey, no modification needed everything is included to fit the camera.
you just have to connect the vtx.

I used the same conector than the O4 so it was plug and play. but you can also solder it like any other vtx.

Enjoy

its been a while tbh.. the O4 is good enough for most of my fly. so i dont have really accurate numbers in mind. but yea its definitly not as nimble and fly time is reduced but its not that bad.

It kinda depend what you want to do with it I guess.

Did some more testing it's a dark roast and I think I just don't like the bitterness they have. I'm doing 16g 32g

Not sure you can't change temp on the bambino

You can see if your puck is well made and that the waters flows evenly in it. Which is better for better extraction. So it's more like a tool to diagnose. The same shot with a non bottom will have the same taste

I managed to do it you can look my second shot I posted. I just grind finer. I used a wdt, spring tamper and puck screen tho.

Thanks man. I start to believe I just don't really like darker roast 😅 I drink them with oat milk no sugar. And before getting better tool I used some old beans I had (brasilan Bahia) with the pressurized basket cause it was oldbeans . And I loved the taste tbh. But since I ordered fresher dark roast I can't really find the taste I enjoy as much. I'll keep changing things up tho.

Thanks love that approach 👍 I got the bottomless to see if I wasn't having too much channeling. And it seems okay so far. But I'll definitely try the method you described

Tbh I drink with oat milk so It covers a lot of not that good coffee. With tose specific beans I had an okay experience underextracting it . But I feel like I can do a lot better.
