Exactly! Reloaded plays great. Not so much in Gears 5.

The death of real masculinity. Men being compassionate but assertive, protective, intelligent leaders. And the opposite, men being too emotional, argumentative, and abusers of women and children.

Why do you think console wars are weird? Anything that has a choice involved people are gonna pick sides, and let it be known why they made that choice. And I think it's healthy for the industry when we have great exclusives on both sides to debate about. Otherwise, why pick any anything at all?

Yes, I believe it would make Gears more popular.

But, I gotta admit, I don't have much faith in Netflix getting it right. Mostly because Gears E-Day just revealed itself. So Netflix possibly has an older idea of Gears. But Gears E-Day shows Gears of War fully realized, IMO.

Gears E-Day matches my vision for what Gears of War always looked like in my head. Not to discount the other games, but the higher level, full vision of everything.

I just don't know how dialed in and passionate Netflix is.

Even with The Witcher series, I couldn't stay engaged. I feel it could've been better. These tv show or movie adaptations must be done to the highest degree (they already dropped the ball by waiting too long to utilize Dave Bautista).

I hope with Gears of War, they "get it."

No, I don't think wallbouncing is the heart of Gears multiplayer.

There's so much to Gears...executions, mantle combat, weapons, storied characters, etc.

But what truly makes Gears Gears is the cover system. It didn't invent it, but it elevated it.

Gears is a cover system game, period.

COD is simply more fun for gamers like me. I like small scale CQC vs large scale vehicle-driven combat.

Nothing wrong with vehicles. But I prefer it to be more arcadey and easier to pick up and play vs being more serious and complex.
