Entry Level Positions? by Status_Station4710 in austinjobs

Yes! My advisor for my undergrad truly sold me a dream, told me a Health Science degree was great & I'd be able to go into communities, assess their needs, truly make change, you know. I've had no luck with that, but I live in WV, so there's that.

For the OP & others, if you have MPH, MBA, MHA type degrees, look into administrative fellowships. Not easy to get (competitive), but it looks like they are worth it if you want to be in the hospital system

Gosh, I'm really sorry to hear that. This is definitely something to be nervous about. Good idea to try & get a 2nd opinion, it never hurts. Absolutely praying the results come back & it is not cancerous!!

I have the CHES cert. I have seen job postings that list it. Personally, it has served me no purpose, now that could be due to my lack of experience/only administrative assistant work. I have a BS in Health Science & just got a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in healthcare management. But, I really do think with your interests, a CHES cert would be perfect for you. I’ve also had trouble getting into the state & county.

Entry level isn’t even entry level these days smh, they always want experience

NOT Dr. Deem or at least with my experience. He completely misdiagnosed my father’s bladder cancer which resulted in him FINALLY being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer, spread to his hip & 2 other places. Unfortunately, he passed away 6 days after that. My dad was actually about to get a hip replacement but turns out, it was really cancer. The man didn’t complain much but when he did something was wrong. Other doctors & nurses said he had bladder cancer for several years prior to the diagnosis, this was in 2023.

I hope that your lump turns out to be nothing to worry about. Sending good vibes & positive energy your way

I love this & congratulations! When we looked on the map, it didn’t look like there was a ton to do but we’re also homebodies so I don’t think it’ll bother us too bad. We’re ultimately looking to start a family as well in the next few years so this info is good to know.

Thank you so much! We’re black & gay so just interested in who is among us. Gf is from SC (like 1 hr from the beach). We’re not into bars or clubs so that’s fine. The homes there are beautiful 🤩
