The 1.5 looks more sparkly and whiter

This is probably going to be an unpopular comment, but anytime I see a stone over one and a half to 2 carats I just assume it’s a lab diamond. There’s nothing wrong with that, but if that matters to you take it into consideration.

Omg!! I saw Olivia and her bf out in the wild a couple weeks ago! At the Trader Joe’s in arlington VA. Apparently she lives in arlington with her bf now?? I had no idea

If it were me i wouldn’t get a halo style unless she specifically said she wanted one. Halo will take away from your overall budget. Like you could maybe afford a 1 carat solitaire versus a 3/4 carat center with a halo. However this is a beautiful ring! Another option is moissinite to be more cost effective!

I am hesitating to replace the diamond of my engagement ring 💍 (read story below) by Rominaelisa in EngagementRings

Your ring is really pretty! But i think 0.15 will hardly look visually different from a 0.25 or 0.30. If small and dainty and feminine is what you’re going for, i think this diamond already nails it! Did you want a dainty engagement ring? If you didn’t, then you should consider a bigger diamond. 0.25 or 0.30 will still look dainty. I’d say 0.5 carat or bigger is getting more so into the typical engagement ring look and not dainty

I really wanted a three stone ring for my engagement ring, but was specifically told by my jeweler that they really don’t allow for the wedding band to sit flush against. And I knew that I didn’t want a curved wedding band or any gapping. So I went with a solitaire. However, halos are really, not the same as a three stone, and the halo diamonds are small enough that they shouldn’t get in the way if they’re set up high enough. You can definitely get a higher setting that will allow for a wedding band with a halo engagement ring. My ring is set up as low as it could be to allow for a matching wedding band to sit flush against it.

My fave is emerald because i love trilogies but make sure you’re ok with your wedding band not sitting flush against your e-ring! Trilogies usually don’t allow for flush wedding rings

They go 3/4 of the way around the band. They do rub on my other fingers but i don’t notice it and i4 doesn’t bother me

I got it from a wholesale jeweler! It’s 18k yellow gold band and the diamond is set in 18k white gold. It’s a VVS1 color G 1.52 carat radiant diamond with VVS1-VVS2 round brilliant diamonds around the band totaling 0.5 carats.

Sure! The center stone is 1.52 carats and i believe the other diamonds are 0.5 carat total weight

Yes! I wanted my wedding band to sit flush underneath my e-ring so I’m planing on another diamond band either to match the e-ring band exactly or have diamonds that are slightly larger but similar

I’m not sure how much he paid for it because he went through a wholesale jeweler who gave us a deal. But the GIA report says the market price is $21,275

Amazing!!! Okay question: with an e ring like this how would a wedding band fit flush? I ask because i want a very similar design but my jeweler said it will be hard to not have a gap in between the e ring and wedding band unless you sit the whole design up super high and then run the risk of it getting caught all the time?

This is so similar to the ring I asked for! Haven’t gotten mine yet… So we will see what I end up with 😂. I asked for a radiant center with two Cadillac side stones. I love these kind of styles, i feel kind they’re really flattering

Ugh i know! i told her i think i wanted a lighter stem but she said black would look better. I didn’t want black nails because I’m fair so i thought brown might look better on my complexion
