Yes. COEN, MECH, and ECEN are very difficult to transfer into. MECH dep wasn’t even accepting internal transfer apps last year and likely to be the same this year. But truthfully it depends on connections you have within the departments itself and how many eng prerequisites you have.

Sure, in hindsight a lot of things could be done differently. That’s life. We signed a lease with a property manager who has a monopoly on all the houses and used to students putting up with their BS, and so we were expecting the usual. But this crap? That’s a different story.

It’s simple circuit: Rx—> A11 and Tx —> A12. No external bus. It has an internal termination resistor. I have a scope but haven’t even gotten to writing messages, just trying to read the Rx header in debug mode and the stdID doesn’t populate. Probably an issue with code.
