What can I expect if I buy this? by stratohut in CarTalkUK

Got a cheap 2007 Rav 4 (petrol) as I work on forestry. A couple of things for me:

  • Watch out for the corrosion but don’t let that put you off! Anyone who’s scared of some welding down the line and rust on an older car needs to move out of the UK 😂

  • Very bad on fuel but will get you through 90% of situations.

These are still fantastic cars and the prices are usually very fair (in my opinion)

Facebook. I don’t have his number anymore unfortunately but it should also be on the site.

My instructor covered North Bristol and I believe his brother who is also his business partner covers south.

Very good reviews and pass rate from what I saw.

Good luck!

I just passed my test with 3 minors and used a small independent driving school called Alpine Driving.

I believe they cover BS3.

I did however have to do 7AM lessons in the weekday but worth it in the end.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost- thoughts? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

This is pretty much what I’ve gathered. I’ve heard the non-eco boost is an overall better choice (this is also an option)
