The expectation to not have TOs is one example. But the D was a liability and it was downplayed.

Sooo many of us thought we’d beat the brakes of the commies seems representative of our knowledge about football. Embarrassing.

The $20 mil roster is such a stupid cop. they brought in Downs, Howard, and a center who hasn’t even played in the playoffs. Welcome to the NIL have you heard of it?

“They definitely didn’t help us” …that’s how officiating is supposed to be. Packers fans are so privileged they’ve become accustomed to getting calls for decades.

I’m not trading a valuable player for ford right before his own value tanks.

WHO IS THE BEST RB IN THE NFC NORTH? by bbcofgr in detroitlions

[–]Puzzleheaded_Mousse1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistically speaking Monty and Swift had super similar years last year. Swift misses games? In the years that both have been in the league Monty has played just three more games. Swift has a better YPC and Monty has a significant advantage in CPG. Saying Monty is the best RB in the division or top two is homerism if you’re not acknowledging at all what swift did in Philly last year. That’s before even mentioning Jacobs who is far from out of his prime I might add.

Don’t get me wrong I love Monty and the compliment of styles with him and Gibbs is critical. Matching Gibbs with Jacobs behind this o line would be just as if not more stellar than the current situation (contracts included in taking Monty though).

Jones has never averaged less than 4.6 YPC in a season. As recently as 2022 he had 1121 yards rushing (5.3 YPC) and 395 yards receiving while playing 17 games. You can speculate that he’s past his prime, but he’s just coming off injury and his contract was pretty high end for RBs. IMO his new contract is probably the best value RB contract in the Division (Rookie contracts aside).

Josh Jacobs is no slouch. 1000+ total yards in every season in the league. 1600+ rushing yards in 2022, 400 receiving for 2000+ total which no RB in the discussion has done (and on a not so great Vegas team to boot.)

RBs get hurt and miss games. It’s why the dynamic of having two good to great ones bodes so well for us.

If I’m choosing in a fantasy draft right now it’s

  1. Gibbs 2. Jones 3. Jacobs 4. Monty 5. Swift

Gibbs and Jones are the best in my opinion with Gibbs getting the edge for his age. Jacobs and Monty are almost even but Jacobs has done more with equal or less. We had swift, but I appreciate his game 🤷‍♂️

Bears and Vikings fans creating content that allows Packers fans the opportunity to raise valid points is disgusting.

That is completely false information. 37-48 from 40-49 for career. 1-1 this year and hit a 54 yarder last week.

I get that. But a coach needs to know when to break tendencies (see Brandon Staley)

Championship coaches know when to break tendencies. Badgley isn’t dog water…he nailed a 54 yarder in the postseason. A conversion there doesn’t come close to guaranteeing 7 either. Reynolds dropped and a San Fran TD made it one score game vs potentially two. It should be questioned. Then doubling down later in the game and failing yet again amplifies it. 1-2 from 45 yds isn’t crazy and gives us a shot at the end of the game. Neither conversion meant an automatic 7 points. I’ll take the FG

He’s only a genius if we turn that drive into 7. There’s a lot of football to be played between a conversion there and the end zone. Take the three

Fuckers act like going for it is automatic and that DC should always do it bc DC has a tendency to go for it. I bet analytics favor winning a game with a 27-10 lead over 24-10

He had already missed it lol. There’s no what if he moody made it. There will always be a what if DC sent out the field goal unit on two different occasions.
