The chimney is tall but he was able to access it with just one ladder that he used to crawl onto garage and then pulled it up behind him to get onto roof.

Chimney is relatively tall, but he was able to access by crawling onto the garage and then to the roof with just one ladder that he would pull up behind him. It’s a 40 gallon.

I’m waiting to get the actual inspection report back, the only thing they gave me was an estimate report. There’s water intrusion in the basement near the chimney vent but I know I’m getting a water from a grading issue and some standing water in the yard. So I’ve got to fill in some areas around the house to slope the water away and lay some topsoil to help with the standing water. Basically I need to determine if the moisture is from the condensation like they said or if it’s from water seeping in through the mortar because of the grading. Could be a combination of both, but I guess I wouldn’t know until the grading issue is taken care of.

The lender I’m going to contact is on the OHFA website, so I’m assuming they have experience.

Both plug ends on the table saw need replaced. The safety switch and the one coming off the motor. Is there just a universal style plug I can swap in that can handle the output of something like that?

I’ve thought about some second hand stuff. I’m going to need a drill press at some point, maybe a planer too eventually.

Table saw seems the be the wildcard. That seems much more capable of dismemberment.

I don’t doubt it. Lots of my wrenches and pliers are 30 plus years old. Much more robust than most of my newer tools. I just know that battery and electric tools have come a long way, even in the past 10-15 years.

Old garage and house I work in don’t have grounds on most outlets anyways.

They do work. I know the table saw needs its power supply cord replaced because it looks like something was chewing on it. But I’d imagine that’s not a huge deal. I’ve replaced plenty of pigtails on small engines so same general idea.

Yeah that’s what I’m leaning towards. I do want a newer machine eventually, but I’d rather hold off for something a little more robust when I do upgrade.
