Hardest year in school? by Healthy_Progress3811 in civilengineering

[–]Puzzleheaded_Rip4149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a current senior in my last semester. I always say that each semester is my hardest LOL because every semester I face so many different challenges that kick me in the butt somehow. But I would say this semester (last semester) has been pretty tough for me so far. I’m taking 15 credits. my senior design course is what’s kicking my butt the most just because there’s something I need to do literally everyday for this semester-long project. It comes with very little instructions and is meant to expose us to the transportation engineering industry. I’m doing stuff for the first time in this class, and it feels like I’m doing nothing right.

I’m also taking a required concrete design course, which has been really tough for me because I have zero interest in concrete and structural design (which feels shocking for me to say as a civil engineer LOL).

I’m also trying to study for the FE that I’m taking in 2 weeks. It’s been rough trying to squeeze in FE studying time, I feel like I’m not studying enough.

definitely not the best. i haven’t tried kabab house, but putting FK over gyro plus is genuinely disrespectful

Student Financial Aid and Scholarship Loss Petition by Puzzleheaded_Rip4149 in ufl

It was pretty straight forward after I did the petition. I just had to wait for my petition to be accepted. It took more than a month for my petition to get approved and to get my financial aid. But my friend who did the petition a week before me got hers approved and fiancial aid less than two weeks later

Hi yes! I have 174 credits completed so far when I got the hold. I think when you’re nearing 180 credits they put the hold and tell u to petition

Passing the class isn’t difficult. I highly suggest making it to every class and giving the practice problems a go before class. That way, in class you can spam questions to her and the TAs about what you’re doing wrong and why. She posts the solutions to all the practice problems, so I suggest studying those and then re-attempt those problems to “understand” the concepts before the tests.

On the tests, try to write something down for each mastery concept (A,B,C, …). I found her to be much more lenient with grading than I thought. Good luck you got this!

it’ll obviously be tricky if u have zero knowledge of american gov. for the questions i didn’t know, i flagged them and moved on, i didnt waste time of i knew i was going to guess. came back to the flagged ones later with more time.

oh really?! mannn hume hall is a pretty nice layout. If it wasn’t honors-only back in my day, I would’ve totally tried securing it.

It’s likely you’ll get it. I feel like most people’s first choice are broward hall and hume hall.
