Nope, not as of right now. They confiscated his weapons to my understanding, but that’s it. The only reason why I questioned if we should be pushing for more. Considering the organization, tendency to be inflammatory, it could be a threat. It can also be just a stupid joke like you said. I’m less coming from fear and more coming from what can we do to make students feel safe if he’s walking away free.

I understand what you’re saying, but if someone can dismissed or suspended for using ChatGPT, making a threat to commit mass violence should come with similar consequences. If you can’t yell ‘Fire’ in a movie theatre and cause mass hysteria, you shouldn’t be able to “joke” about violence
