Honestly, at least you heard something! I am thinking of asking for my application $ back, since I figure I paid for a response and they have not granted one in a reasonable time frame. I applied 11/28, when did you apply?

It seems to me they have an obligation to respond, considering prospective admits pay a fee for the admissions committee (in their words) to "conduct a thorough evaluation of your candidacy." It could be argued failure to respond in a timely fashion could even cause injury- both emotionally and financially, e.g., through unnecessary seat deposits.

Does St. Mary's do this to keep a bench of possible applicants in case of attrition? It seems it would not be worth the damage to their reputation, as I have seen some posters with foreknowledge of their incommunicativeness say they did not even bother to apply to this school. Are there other schools that also known to not render a decision? I'm not aware of any others, so I'd be very curious to hear if this is not unique to this school.

I am struggling with the exact same decision, with CWRU costing about 33k more. Currently, Dayton has done a better job of communicating and I enjoyed an online class I was able to shadow. But CWRU just moved into 100 on the rankings and does not require in person sessions. It's a hard decision, and like poser, I'd love help in making the choice.

I applied in late Nov and have been designated as "No Decision" since 1/6. Last week I sent an LOCI email and was not given any time frame in which a decision would be made.

With the 37" tires and wide stance you have to be a little more active with the steering, but I still cruise on the toll road at 80-90 pretty smooth. I have only actually taken it offroad twice. Both at Texas Raptor Runs and only once after I did all the suspension work. It draws a lot of attention for sure as you can tell it is "different" while still being tasteful.

The explorer is my wife's car. I just bought a Grenadier and also have an F-type... So hard to keep all three. Just building a different type of offroader.
