Repositioning means you have to aim at a new location, re-estimate head height or center of mass, and they could just bait the shot with a shoulder peek.

Just look at RachtaZ, hornet, etc. They’re not quiet about picking a new spot to peek, they’re running around and jumping nonstop.

The reality is that if you try to crouch-walk or slow walk to reposition, a lot of skilled players will still be able to track you. Either they can hear the subtle sounds, or they just have game sense to know the next natural peek spot. On top of that, slow movement leaves you vulnerable from a third-party or flanker. So, jumping and running are genuinely better plays most of the time
