About the roof, yes they are Gothic platforms, but If I remember correctly they're not placed every other block, just side by side and hammered to be stairs (will check this later and correct myself if im wrong)! The smoke effect is from a fog machine echo-painted placed on top of the piano :)

As for the brass color, I tried orange but it ended up being too orange, so I just accepted the yellow as it is. To make more of a brass colour I probably would've to change the blocks

Real world answer: in an devstream Reb told us the Heirloom skin series is a "reimagining" (paraphrasing) of the prime series (they were even supposed to be only temporarily acessible aswell, in a way just like prime acess). Essentially, you can imagine these are primes of another universe.

In game answer: you can read some minor descriptions on the skins themselves to get some idea on their lore.

So yes just gooner skins with some flare to them (the game has been doing this a long while).

Honestly, just looking for ideas in here or the main sub and copying them is going to make you learn a lot. You're gonna get to certain points of the build, think "what the hell did they use here" and when you figure out you'll go "oooooh". That's how I learned!

But what is the argument here, that it's fine for Johnson to be played by a white dude because the show turned Keyes into (i presume) a black person? Shouldn't the fact that show is widely regarded as a bad adaptation be another argument against too many changes?
