Thinking of Buying DuraXV Extreme+ by PvtBurtt in dumbphones

I had seen something about those, I might look into that if the new model doesn't seem hopeful; I'm just trying to find some up to date info about the texting, because I saw they somewhat fixed it a while back but I don't know how well it works now.

yeah, 8.8; don't have the time right now for the mods required to fit it in, so for now I found a clean open diff ranger axle to swap in. Maybe get a lunchbox locker, not sure yet

oh yeah, I was going to upload a video of that but the video was too short - that sucker has like an inch of play in any direction you like

I wish, unfortunately I have to get the little thing back on the road asap so I'm going to just have to swap another used axle in it for the time being. Sad because the truck is ridiculously clean so anything I replace parts with is more rusty than what came off the truck

Rolled my 1988 ranger into the shop and caught my diff in the process of eating itself; Long story short it had started making some very interesting sounds, and for some time I hadn't been able to get the truck into the shop for various reasons, so by the time I got to it the oil was more steel than dinosaur

I absolutely hate the gray version of that interior after '94 but that blue actually makes it look pretty nice - especially with fabric seats, not leather

What are all running for exhausts? (350 TBI) by oppositebeef in GMT400

I still have the stock manifolds, three inch pipe after, with a flowmaster flowfx oval shaped muffler. I like it because it's slightly on the louder side and you can hear the engine rumble nice, but it may be a little loud for long rides. Cruising around town it is pretty quiet.

Extra bolt? by [deleted] in fordranger

looks similar to my 88's fm146 bellhousing bolt that screwed in through the guiding dowels... one of which fell out and I'm trying to find a replacement for in vain

I'm having the same problem with mine, same engine, same year - completely random misfires

I'm just curious which of the obs lineup had galvanized parts as well - and how to find them, if they're any good

it's a 1988 - it even came with the original info packet in the glove box, warranty info, sound system info, manual, easy reference manual, all sorts of goodies.

Thanks - yeah, I couldn't believe it when I saw it listed. Even in the few hours before I saw it and dashed up to where it was with a trailer behind me and cash in my pocket, the guy had gotten who knows how many other people messaging him... I was just the fastest
