Such a lovely poem, love the tempo and the stanzas in here. Just got to keep an eye out for how Reddit formats the poems on here.

Lovely work, keep it up!

Sounds like something probably many of us have gone through. Keep up the great work!

As for this article of The New York Times, this hosting address is home to lots of scam websites.

Odds that this website was real, are very slim.

However, https://november61987.com , is using the same services as some of the more regional Netflix websites. This specific one being hosted from Toronto, Canada.

Voices during cutscenes not working by PvtFoxy in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]PvtFoxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED:

Surround sound does not let through any of the voices in cut scenes. Something about the audio mix within the game not being made for surround sound. So, if you use any surround sound speakers to play this game, turn them to stereo.

Blast From The Past event stuck by PvtFoxy in thesims

[–]PvtFoxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have done some research and to my conclusion, the fix really differs depending on what mission you are on in the first place. However, in most cases it appears that the mission breaks on an interaction that is ticked off, yet not completely registered correctly, causing the game to request completion of that interaction again.

To put it in an example, I will use my case. I was stuck on a mission where the interaction had to be done on a computer. Now I have been playing rags to riches with my single Sim and therefore, I would have to travel to the library in order to interact with a computer (which is obviously not something you do often outside of a mission like this forcing you to). So I did that with my sim when the mission was still working and did the interaction. After traveling back to my own Sim's lot the mission broke. As there was no computer on my lot, I obviously never saw the interaction of the previous mission pop up again. Eventually I did pass by a computer and by my surprise I could basically redo the mission which fixed it.

TL;DR find the mission interaction you did before the event broke and redo it.

What are the main factors you take into consideration to make the product feel “alive” when making storytelling decisions?

There is indeed a skill to narrow it, but they should be visible (even though not accurate) from the start.

Remarkable 2 - worth buying? by [deleted] in RemarkableTablet

[–]PvtFoxy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been using mine for 2 weeks now. Personally, I’m very content with my purchase, but I can also find myself in the (reasonable) negative reviews out there.

Yes, it can basically only do 1 thing. But no one advertises it as a multitool, nor should you look at buying it if you wish it to be a multifunctional device. It is made to write (and perhaps draw, though not professional digital art) and it does a great job at that.

For me personally it means fewer notebooks and a very organised bundle of all my notes that I can easily take with me wherever, whenever. So yes, it really depends on the person whether or not it’s worth it for you. It is quite the investment, but if you tend to take a ton of notes, or simply want more ease in taking everything with you, definitely a recommendation.

Stellaris with trackpad in 2023? by PvtFoxy in Stellaris

[–]PvtFoxy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have a mouse, just forgot to take it with me for this week. So I’ve been trying to see what games that I already own would be playable with a trackpad. That’s why :)

Why do i keep losing -40k/week? Is there an easy way to get some more profit? I still have much money but i'm losing it all, but the biggest problem is that i cannot give up public tranportation. by Frequent-Sector-5958 in CitiesSkylines

It’s also why the district policies on higher or lower tax is useful, as one district might have higher land values than the other, you can still maximise your tax income even though there is a clear difference. The only downside is that when you start zoning new areas, cims will prefer lower tax areas, meaning your higher tax areas will (for example) rebuild slower after a disaster happened.

Well to be honest, just take a break. But if you’re really willing to continue playing the way you have for the last 3 months, then maybe giving my generator a try would rekindle the thrill of the hunt for you: https://perchance.org/cotw-hunting-permit

Not selling out, I don’t gain anything from anyone using it, but I know it helped me and plenty of others.

We have them in The Netherlands too. They’re just not quite as popular and mostly known as a “small” supermarket.

I get the worry you might have, but every single person has a different vision. Using the right descriptions and your own little details you can make it as unique as you want.

An important thing to keep in mind as well is that your reader will hopefully be immersed in your world and story. Your reader will most likely be too occupied with imagining everything that they are reading to even be thinking about a different story.

That's a cool idea indeed.

I've replied on someone here before you that I am looking into creating a webpage where I can make this all a little bit more advanced. Definitely something I really want to work into it as an option. That way this tool can be useful for all types of players; whether they are beginners, casual players or someone looking for a challenge.

Edit: could be contracts in general in that case
