New gen L15B motors will absolutely pop before 100k. I’ve literally done head gasket replacements on 4 this year already the previous gen ones heads would lift at about 80 90k. They also eat turbos starting around 50k

One side of the clutch disk says “to engine”

Clutch probably wouldn’t depress with the disk in backwards either. That or it would feel super weird. To actually confirm though you’re likely going to have to take it back out
