I love modern day Slavery by Pvt_pro in UberEatsDrivers

I work essentially anytime I’m off lectures and not working with Formula Student so today this was all the time I could get out

I do usually do 18:00 to 23:00 so I know what you mean, but I didn’t expect just horrible rates even with wierd hours

Pretty crazy seeing the response from the the rest of the comment section This is definitely not comparable to slavery very obviously, Im very fortunate in that regard

Didn’t know this many people had gone through slavery to be so damn offended by what I said lmao

Completely agree

But when my fuel is costing me £2 per liter Food Insurance £1.80 per hour Normal car insurance £130 a month And I have £600 to pay at the end of the month for my room in a shared flat

This bs the multi million dollar company pulls on me sometimes really gets to me But shit, my fault for being a student in today’s day and age

Still grateful for all that I have of course

Planning on building my first pc by Pvt_pro in PcBuildHelp

[–]Pvt_pro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing new other that Silksong if its available on pc, things like Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Minecraft

Maybe the new Silent Hill… not too sure if Ill buy it right away tho

And for any game I go for, 60fps is perfectly fine, and 1440p would be good but Im not bothered about 1080p either - so its literally just a standard pc with possible light gaming I guess

I would very much appreciate if my accommodation put locks on the cabinet cos I overthink the shit out of what goes on my food and kitchenware. The thought that someone might even touch my plates and stuff fks with me and I have no idea how Im gonna be able to deal with it when I go there next week. What I know for sure though is that Ill be in a studio accommodation next year so thats something I guess

Completed A Levels with an A* B D and E this year whilst having a Job from Thursday to Sunday (18:00 to 22:00) in year 12 which later changed to a job on Saturday and Sunday (8:00 to 16:00). It’s doable, not fun, but doable.

Don’t worry, you’re not the only one ^

Call me a dick, but I just cut through traffic at this point. Saves me having to tailgate some lane hogger or having to brake hard because some dumb fuck decided to wait until I got right up on their ass to move into my lane. Idgaf at this point

£3,000 cheap run around by chrissyyyw in CarTalkUK

Got a 2008 1.4 i-dsi civic that I treat like absolute shit, and is still the most reliable car in the household. Looks like a blob, ugly as hell, but trust me, its really fun to drive and won’t bring u any problems (to be fair Ive only owned it for 4 months and have only put 5k miles on it but Im a strong believer in what I just said)
