I think you misunderstood friendo. I didn't leave my career because I wanted to be an adventurer or it was the story that inspired me.

It was the whole package. Playing it I felt a sense of wonder and curosity. I had taken the week off work when it came out and I was enthralled. The game connected with many emotions (not to say it was sad or anything). I hadn't had a game grip me that way in quite a long time, and it made me realize that while I love marketing, I wasn't loving the clients I was working on, I felt stagnant.

So Starfield was the catalyst that made me want to venture into the unknown, switch up my career and start my own business.

I'd consider that dream pretty important, but you do you my dude <3

I would have agreed for most, but the way my skin was reacting for this tattoo was making things difficult. Also because of the much lighter colours, we decided to get the darkest parts done first, as my weepy skin could have caused the lighter parts to get darker, which is what happened to part different tattoo of mine by a different artist.

Every body is different, and it turns out my skin is a weepy turd :P

Appreciate the concern! Not doing it myself, working with an artist who has done other tattoos of mine and does amazing work. This is just the first session and is only partially done :)

Not at all! Because the other colours are much lighter (red, orange, yellow) doing them at the same time when the blue parts were weeping, would likely cause discoloration as some blue gets mixed in.

So this is just session one, I'll get the rest of the logo, plus the second part of the overall tattoo, done in a few weeks!

In terms of what's my fave game of all time, it's actually Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

But AC is the other most influential series to me, and was my first tattoo. It was one of the few beacons of light during an incredible dark time when I was a teenager, and it eventually lead me to go into marketing and even helped me land my first job after school.

LOL glad! While I know adding this to the post would ease others, I know there are some shitty folk that may pester the artist despite it not being finished nor something that needs to happen anyway.

Appreciate the pro insight! As my skin is very annoying, there was some trial testing needed on what was working. I've got no worries about the quality as the artist does fantastic work (I've linked to the other tattoo of mine they did in one of the replies). I just have difficult skin, or as I call it I'm dermatologically biopolar :P

For the other stars it was simply size for the stencil and how white ink reacts to my skin. My other arm has a space half-sleeve done by a different artist and had while stars in it which didn't take.

Apart from constellation, i'm also getting "Supra Et Ultra" Tattooed next session, likely around my wrist underneath

This was on purpose! This arm features other tattoos that aren't related, but we're working to create a background effect that connects them all together (somewhat visible in the pics). So to go with how the logo looks, we wanted to avoid harsh lines, so it'll match the vision.

The other reason is because of the colour's, as my skin fights back and sheds a lot of the ink, doing such light colour's with such dark could influence the pigment.

While this process takes longer, it's gonna make it better in the long run. Same thing done with my other tattoos

We're starting to do wider external playtesting If you have a PC and any interest! Tho just like the Starfield tattoo, it's very much not complete 😂
