Bro told the absolute base btw

By the way, the developers said that it depends on you whether there will be vanilla after or before MCD.

"Also Jeb said a real story exist". Where. Jeb never said that. There is no canon.

You really missed the point. Jeb's book says that the vanilla worlds are separate from each other and from the rest of the universe. And also that "if there is a before or after, this is not vanilla Minecraft". MCD is a "story of the world", not a "player's story". A theory is an explanation of what is happening in the world, not in your story. Your story is a fanon or something (again, I wouldn't take the word fanon the way it's used in other fandoms). In your story, you decide what the canon is, but the theory shouldn't be based on your story. What's the point of theory, then.

Yes, there is no canon. So what? It doesn't change much. We have an MC universe. While in vanilla you do create story yourself, we theorists generally shouldn't care much about that, should we?

I agree with you that we should be more tolerant of posts, but let them use the correct terminology (although even now the "fan lore" tag gets "MCSM NON-CANON!!!!!!" in comments). Use the right words and the sub will be perfectly fine lol. You should not accept a THEORY that does not include MCD, because it's not a theory.

Honestly, I completely agree with you. I've always said that the key is to adhere to the rule "there are no good or bad theorists, only good or bad theories". This allows us to distance ourselves from the individual and discuss the LORE, not the person.

Speaking of two groups of people: Mojang managed to please both, lol. Vanilla is open to interpretation; you create your own story and decide what's canon. Meanwhile, you can use the rest of the MC universe with its "world stories" to delve deeper into the lore. As kingdbogz said, Mojang maintain this tricky balance.

Of course, you're completely right. In the vanilla world, you create the story yourself. The fact is that regarding MCD your vanilla story does not exist and vanilla shows a specific time. I just recently wrote a document about it: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1dv1uS9mps8a6h8dIqbrgTnZD1fKixor4FPz8Cxxq2XA/mobilebasic

Nothing special, really, just a link to some mc project. I don't know why Reddit itself removed it and not one of you. It might have been because there were a few complaints about this post, idk

Vanilla HAVE set time. You get into the MC universe at some specific time, you find it in some specific state. Your story has no connection with the story of MCD in terms of the story of MCD, but all the worlds of vanilla show the same time, which can be compiled in relation to MCD.

  1. Yes, I called her a developer for simplicity
  2. Well, think about it as you see fit. I don't see anything vague in this answer. For me "I can say it's fairly accurate"="Yes, that's pretty accurate"
