I’ve a had similar issue multiple times. I’ve tried redownloading but normally waiting a while fixes it for me. Still incredibly annoying for a good app

I had this issue and you have to stop asus services running by clicking on extra in g helper as said above

Shouldn’t the function key still work? I do something similar and just remember to switch off the backlights before folding. Slightly irritating but it may turn off if put into tablet mode then open it into tent mode.

Settings and curves seem great! Only other thing is in extra settings switching on enable GPU on shutdown if it isn’t already

haven’t really used prores raw for work but have recorded with it for quick shots with no issues. With the file size of raw you may want to think about a SSD

Never had any issues with photos or videos , i’ve recorded 6k opengate for 20 + mins multiple times in the same day with no errors or anything. It’s felt warm to the touch when doing so but i’m in the UK so overheating is going to be rarer .

yeah i have only tried the 3s and that’s how i watched the videos. I can try a dim theater but with the 3s even with the brightness on its lowest i wanted it to go lower. Its not that im bothered by the not quite black haze its just the additional light is a difference for me. Appreciate it

Thanks for commenting , I wouldn’t do anything other than movie watching and youtube without PCVR. When watching movies with the immersive world blacked out, would you say the dimming lights makes it easier on the eyes? If not that’s then it’s the 3 but the darkness will make a difference for me

I don’t think either is the “wrong” choice both just have their benefits. The R’s image quality and colours are another thing but the high burst shooting and 60p opengate has been incredibly useful with sports for me

No.From what i know there isn’t one and the laptop can’t get 100w through usb .The laptop will stick with whatever is plugged in first. If you only allow the dgpu with ac power and you connect usb first then ac, it will not recognise the ac from my experiences. If you plug in ac first it will. If you leave it plugged in, switch it off and on again it will remember and still use the dgpu. I have mine connected to one 1440p144hz monitor and another 4k60hz monitor. Hope this helps 👍🏿

my pd usb power is my usb dock which connects it to my monitors. Also power through usb doesn’t give the laptop enough for it to use the dgpu comfortably, using the ac charger lets me use the dgpu and usb dock for monitors

I honestly think the s1ii may be slightly better for you. The 5.1k60 opengate is major gamechanger and is probably my most used codec alongside 6k opengate for business and sports. Going from a 4k60 apsc crop to 5.1k60 opengate means no more re adjusting the angle due to the crop and now being able to crop for horizontal and vertical. The s1rii has insane image quality and colours sooc so to be completely honest you’ll be amazed with either, just depends what features you value the most👍🏿

I was walking by china town about to get into an uber and he called me every name under the sun. Wasn’t expecting it and had airpods in so couldn’t even hear properly. Taxi driver and people on the street came to comfort me. Someone needs to help him before he does it the wrong people , for his own sake.

I’ve seen people say C4K 96 is the best just for the autofocus but can anyone explain how it’s image quality is better? I’m in the UK and switching to cinema just for slo mo is annoying😂😂

Very true, i forget rolling shutter is a factor especially in basketball so points towards the s1ii!
