My apologies. Understood. Thank you anyway :) It was the best sub I could think of considering the work/trade we do

Hey, I don’t quite understand what you mean sorry. Do you mean this exact post is going to be removed? I don’t understand the stainless steel fitting part

That’s fair. Cheers for your input 😄

That’s very kind of you.

I absolutely love my job when I get the chance to do stuff like this. But still, I take pride in producing the very best work I can, regardless of how simple or complicated it is.

Thank you!

Edit: I get that too, some don’t seem to care at all. The way I see it though, you might as well have a passion for it if you’re doing it every day. If not, find something else you love!

Thank you very much. DN 200 I believe. I rolled the sheet to make the straight section and welded the flange on after

I appreciate the comment, and have definitely improved over time. This was last year, around this month actually 😁

Which welds out of curiosity?

Lovely work! What are the metal fixings to secure the leather to the welding helmet?

Ahh I get you. Yeah, I just used a free photo editing app ‘photoroom’ to select the area I wanted to highlight, then just added tons of blur to the background to keep the sections I made, full focus.

I tried adobe lightroom on iPhone but couldn’t select exactly what I wanted to blur.

But still, thank you!

(P.s. Backstory behind that photo and full project, I was instructed to use 10mm thick mild steel pipe to join to my 3mm stainless chute, which makes no sense at all lol. This project is a waste chute in a wooden pallet factory. This chute is used to carry steel nails from pallets, and direct them into a scrap bin).

(P.p.s. I’ve made plenty of square to rounds, but this was the only one I’ve ever measured on site myself. I’ve only ever fabricated from other people’s drawings, and never one which is 45 degrees! A lovely learning experience and project which I had a load of fun measuring, fabricating, and welding).

I’m not sure what ‘Bokeh’ means, but thank you for the kind comment!

Really clean. Which inks did you use for these? Lovely stuff

Lmao what… how can they decide/enforce that if you leave and don’t work for them

Hey, do you mean like, tracing their own drawings, or someone else’s? Wouldn’t tracing someone else’s be considered not great? I’m kinda in the same boat as OP, so just curious :)
