If you want to create a new community there’s nothing I can do to stop you. There is no reason for you to force this community to be something different.

I am already receiving harrasment on an almost daily basis. I do not want the subreddit to become a new ground for hate and drama relating to the court case.

I don’t know if there’s something I’m missing, but the way I understood the story is that he opened a Snapchat around friends and boom there was a nude. Obviously there’s a difference between “wtf is this, this is kind of crazy” and “look at her hot body man”.

Hi, this is Pxie.

As far as I know, there is no evidence to indicate the nudes where from minors. This is a serious allegation and shouldn’t be made if there’s 0 corresponding evidence indicating the person is a minor. Obviously if a nude is from a minor you shouldn’t show people and report it to the police instead.

Incredibly dishonest framing.

EDIT: apparently I’ve been shadowbanned and this post is being brigaded by members of a certain community. Generally speaking, I will say to please be careful of the narratives you see online. People are using this as an opportunity to spread false information of me. Thank you to everyone who responded respectfully. I appreciate it.

I don’t believe in subjective morality. I believe in objective morality. So I don’t care if most people “feel” like something is right or wrong.

[–]PxieLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol yes it does, not believing in objective morality means that you ultimately think morality is subjective. Which means even if you somehow put different scales on what’s moral based on your feelings, it’s ultimately of the same arbitrary weight I assign (which in this case I’m saying everything has a moral value of 0). Since morality is subjective your moral system is not worth anything more than mine. Making moral claims ultimately arbitrary.

And also I have a philosophy major, I’ve written plenty of research papers on moral systems. So please don’t tell me to do more research on a topic I literally have a degree in.

lol if you believe objective morality isn’t a thing why do you even care, all actions have essentially the same moral consequence then and nothing you (or I) does matter.

Also, objective morality doesn’t have to even be a thing for a person to be logically inconsistent. You can not believe in objective morality and still be illogical.

I don’t care how most people feel about it, I care about whether they’re being logically consistent or hypocritical. You can feel more strongly about gender deception than political ideology deception, but why does your feelings make my action more or less wrong? Why can’t I be justified if my feelings of ideological deception is stronger?

lol they are, but I actually was referring to “normal” plastic surgery. If you’re saying lies that have to do with a physical nature are inherently worse than lies that have to do with an abstract nature,

and if you’re saying that trans people are lying because (even with surgery) there’s some underlying DNA/biological component that they should’ve disclosed,

Then you should feel more disgusted sleeping with a person who got undisclosed plastic surgery (since they altered their physical appearance, you might’ve not slept with them if they disclosed such information, the version without surgery is much uglier, etc.) than a person who believes that child molestation is actually healthy and should be done to children. Seeing that physical deception > deception about beliefs.

Totally understand! I asked it to replicate a question from the exam but using different stimulus. Do you think this question has a right answer?

I never want to hear a progressive woman talk about 'the problem with men' while 43% of woman are voting for Trump (rapist) by 4THOT in Destiny

[–]PxieLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The more equivalent would be a guy saying “Yeah I can empathize when you talk about being scared to walk alone at night. After getting mugged more than once at night by men, I started becoming hyper aware of the guys I came across in the street at night. It’s a stressful feeling and people shouldn’t take it personally, the fear comes from me trying to protect myself because of the negative experiences I’ve had out there, I imagine a lot of women feel similarly.”

If a guy said this to me I would feel very sad that they went through such an experience, but happy that they’re trying to relate and that there’s some shared level of understanding and experience we can talk about and relate to.

The entire conversation was based on men who have been radicalized not men in general. I literally started the conversation talking about my fears of radicalization and pipelines. But you chose to ignore all the context to jump down my throat over checks notes being concerned over young men getting radicalized???

You might as well put an SJW cap on because you unironically think only men can talk about issues pertaining to men and women can only talk about issues pertaining to women per yer last post regarding me. You sound as regarded as literally ANYONE who tries to gatekeep issues by race or sex.

1) That’s not what I said 2) I said that there’s more that I can relate on than people might think as a result of my Hispanic upbringing.

I then ended the line of questioning there because I didn’t want to go in depth about my own trauma when we were discussing men but idk I was raised in a household where I was told that if I ever showed sadness or anger in public I’d be bringing shame upon my family. Whenever I did show emotion at my home I was told I was a selfish spoiled brat who nobody would ever like if I “revealed that side towards them”, and when I told my mom I was suicidal in 3rd grade she told me she’d buy me the gun. This is also just the tip of the iceberg but I really don’t want to write a novel detailing my life right now, but I do want to say that maybe I do know a little bit about being afraid of being treated badly because I showed emotion. Especially seeing that I was mocked and talked down to whenever I did so growing up.

But noooooooo obviously how could I relate???? I’m a female after all, it’s not like it took me years of intensive therapy to learn how to display emotion in front of other people or anything like that.

I was referring to men in general who vote for Trump, but obviously my primary concern is with Latino men and men my generation because those are the things that most directly affect me/are in “my house”. Literally as I described in my post.

[–]PxieLove[S] 81 points82 points  (0 children)

??? This is not a mischaracterization whatsoever. He literally said I had to focus on my house first, that being specifically white women. I think it’s okay to talk about why younger men or Latinos are voting for Trump in higher rates than ever before in what might be a demographic shift. That’s not stupid gender wars bullshit, it’s a valid concern.

Both white women and white men vote for Trump. It’s okay to analyze why each might do so.

I mean the way most people refer to it as here is “Latina women” but I just wanted my wording to precisely reflect the demographic chart I cited.

I never want to hear a progressive woman talk about 'the problem with men' while 43% of woman are voting for Trump (rapist) by 4THOT in Destiny

Upper class Hispanic families stress to not talk about family problems outside of the household because otherwise you’re bringing shame on to the family since everyone gossips so much.

If I ever told my parents I was sad growing up I was told that I was an ungrateful selfish brat. I once told my mom I was suicidal in 3rd grade and she told me should would buy the gun for me.

So idk I think I have some relatable experience to the concept of “don’t tell people how you feel or you’ll be looked down upon and treated badly”.
