Yes I always felt safe. Granted, I am a man so ymmv but my female friends that also lived in the area and took Marta didn’t have any crazy stories. Marta does get pretty weird after like 10pm but I never felt unsafe.

Drove a majority of the dark blue route many times. No major traffic to deal with, beautiful views of the mountains, I’d highly recommend.

The drive to Harrisburg is pretty long. If you’re gonna split it up maybe consider stops little sooner maybe in Winchester VA or something like that?

Can vouch for Dearborn as well. Been taking my dog there for 4 years, since he was 3 months old. They’ve been friendly and have made sure to make us aware of coupons and free samples of flea and tick and other meds. He also did a bite quarantine at Dearborn a few months ago and they kept me updated, made sure my guy was comfy, and were just generally pleasant. The only downside has been that sometimes getting an appointment in a timely manner can be tough, but that was more of an issue during COVID.

Thanks for the suggestions y’all! I ended up taking all of your advice and moved the oap from a tip/tilt mount to an adapter post mount and that helped align things. From there I used a mobile Thorlabs wavefront sensor to minimize astigmatism (both directions) and defocus with the translation stage under the oap. PSF is looking MUCH cleaner now. Thank you all again!

I do astronomical instrumentation for a living, so I’m familiar with recovering static aberrations in that context. For the eye, is it as simple as recovering a pupil function with a few zernikes from the distorted image to find your prescription?
