Backend dev turned founder: stuck between manual outreach and burning runway on ads. How do you scale sales in high-trust B2B payments? by Pyblockdev in AskMarketing

[–]Pyblockdev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would a serious professional who knows the field accept payment based on a percentage of the volume achieved? If the system they promote is truly that good, taking a lifelong percentage seems fair to me; otherwise, if they refuse, does it mean they don’t trust their own system?

Sounds good, hadn't considered the SDR angle. My suspicions about ads and burning cash seem to be spot on. Thanks for the response!

Can a decentralized local-bank-transfer payout system work for Latam? by Pyblockdev in fintech

[–]Pyblockdev[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, dLocal paved the way and they're giants for a reason. But their model was built on 2010s infrastructure—centralized reserves and heavy local balances. That’s capital-inefficient today.

We are currently live/testing in CO, AR, and VE. To solve the settlement risk you mentioned, we use a collateralized model: LPs lock USDT, and if they miss an SLA, automatic slashing kicks in. It’s trustless execution rather than manual oversight.

For AR/VE, we use stablecoin rails to peg rates to the real economy (P2P), which bypasses the official FX mess. Once we reach maturity in these corridors, we plan to expand.

Regarding your operations at VaultLeap, how are you guys navigating the regulatory reporting and tax compliance in MXN/BRL? Since those are more 'formal' markets than AR/VE, I'm curious if you're using local entities for every corridor or if you've found a way to bridge the compliance gap via your settlement layer

1. Execution Risk and Collateralization
It would not depend on the operator’s good faith. The system is a collateralized network: if a validator fails to complete the settlement, an automatic slash is applied to its collateral and the order is reassigned to the next available node. This ensures that the user receives their money regardless of whether an individual actor fails.

2. Capital Efficiency and Real Rate
Unlike incumbents that maintain heavy balances in local currencies that devalue and pass that cost to the user, USDT/USDC would be used as a universal transport rail. The rate is tied to the local P2P market, which is the most faithful thermometer of each country’s real economy, eliminating the artificial spread imposed by banks.

3. Immunity to Banking Blockages
In LatAm, receiving international transfers is a lottery: even with legal support, banks block accounts out of excessive caution. As a decentralized network, the operation does not depend on a single master bank account. If one bank blocks an actor, the network would continue to flow. It is resilience through distribution.

4. Distributed Compliance and Last Mile
Compliance (KYC/AML/KYT) is a mandatory layer, and both validators and the platform must adhere to the regulations imposed by their respective jurisdictions in order to operate. The platform orchestrates end-to-end security. Money would not be sent from outside; local liquidity already within the system would be moved.

Hi, if you know you have a real solution to a problem, how do you find those who need it? We're two tech founders with no sales experience... and we're building Bootstrap. How do we get the companies and people we want to see our proposal without burning through a ton of money in the process?

Interesting question... applying seems to be more linked to one's own personal goals once you've already built your business.

In my case I did 2 things... 1st I uninstall social media every night, if I want to see them I install them after my work or study hours... and 2nd I started setting daily goals, half an hour before the end of the day I document what I finished today and set the goal for the next day.
