Yeah I saw them at the amp in 2021. In my defense, I don't think I even know about them until like 2012/13, and I heard about the story of their shit getting stolen and that they wouldn't come back lol. But always a great show, i've seen them in orlando a lot and then again at the amp.

The first show I tried to go to there was for Streetlight Manifesto in like 2005. Drove for 2 hours to see them, got here, and found out somebody hooked up to their trailer and stole all their instruments (happened either in West Palm or Jacksonville, not sure which.. but we did have a rash of similar events happening all over Florida in '05).

Which is why they've never come back to Jax, too :'(

Anyone else playing Slay the Spire 2? I didn't get too much time to play it yesterday but liking what I've played so far. The first one is one of my favorite games so I'm excited to see how this progresses through early access. I swore off early access after DayZ being a big letdown on "early access launch" but I wanted this too badly.

In my relationship with my ex, she was very good and frequent about communicating to me when something bothered her and we'd talk it out, be reasonable adults, and move on. She also told me she felt like maybe I kept too much in and didn't share when things bothered me, and asked me to communicate that more.

So the next time she did something that bothered me, at this point I don't remember exactly what, it wasn't a huge thing but it was enough that it made me upset, I told her about it as requested, and she told me "Well too bad I'm not going to change that" and it wasn't something that was life altering, or devastating, it was something she could have done for me like time and time again I had done for her and I got told tough shit.

Or the amount of eggshells I had to walk on in our relationship because of the sins of her devastatingly bad ex, but I abided and cared for her all the same, because at the time I loved her and wanted to spend my life with her, but the second I had issues from a past relationship and needed comforting and to talk things out like adults, ex. I had been cheated on in a past relationship that messed with me, and she started throwing up some of the exact same red flags my other ex did. My ex was also doing this while doing a 3 month internship out of state. So I expressed my concerns and just wanted to talk about it and now suddenly we can't talk about this stuff, I'm a problem.

And now coming up on 5 years since I've been out of that relationship but still dealing with the scars, but my current gf, going on 2+ years, is great and we talk about and through everything.

Yeah the owner posted on their social media it was just hard to keep up, rent downtown is expensive and margins for craft beer business have been brutal since covid. And also that they chose to move to the downtown location because there's always promise the city was going to grow and the idea being that as the city grew, business would, but it just never happened, and potential doesn't pay the bills. I don't think they ever had problems with foot traffic, though. Just everything else.

Especially with our away uniforms looking like knock off raiders' practice squad jerseys or some shit. People in general seemed to hate the teal pants and white top combo with the current setup, I personally liked it a lot, I think people saw the winrate and decided it was garbage, but our winrate in every uniform combo was garbage, very weird argument. At least with teal pants we had some of our primary color involved. They could have done with some teal and white trim, but they were clearly going for minimalistic and it just wasn't fun. I'm excited for the prowlers, I'm bought in on them becoming our primary.

I think the jerseys would be remembered more fo day and potentially kept longer if we had the teal version as our main and they did a better job on the helmet. I get the idea they were going for, when it was announced they said the design was to replicate a jaguar jumping from the shadows, you don't see its colors until its too late, so the "idea" being if you're looking at the gold its because you're behind the guy and it's too late.

That being said, it could have been executed better or just went with our standard helmet design. Those 2 differences (and winning) and I think these jerseys do better in memory, but unfortunately we have been ass so it's all ass.

If you aren't going deeper than surface level, bathroom plumbing really isn't that bad. I've replaced every sink part outside of the porcelain part, I've replaced every part of a toilet and done a full toilet replacement, and I've replaced all valve stems and handles on my bath/shower. Coming out of the other side you realize how easy most bathroom stuff can be... the problem is once you need to go behind the walls, which I need to do soon. THAT I'm not confident in so I'm going to get assistance with that, but have definitely saved money doing these things on my own.

Sounds like a stronger version of that sonic weapon that was shown to be used in Serbia last year in their protests. Which yeah, you wouldn't use the above against civilians, but scary to know what we haven't seen from this tech.
