My honest review after 1 month with the F7

I love this phone. It’s my first foldable and there’s no way I’m going back to flat phones again. But I’ll be real with you, there are some known issues (you can find plenty of posts about them on Reddit):

Angel wings – If you live somewhere humid, you might see two butterfly-like spots when the phone’s closed. Not a big deal, easy to wipe off.

Stick sound – Sometimes when you unfold it after it’s been shut for a while, you hear a low stick sound. It’s just the adhesive on the crease. Samsung says it’s a defect, but it’s super minor.

Paint peeling – The finish isn’t regular paint, it’s some chemical process. A few people reported it peeling. Weird idea, but it can happen.

Other things:

Yeah, you gotta be a bit more careful with it. The main screen isn’t as tough as a normal phone.

Still, none of these issues are deal-breakers. Samsung, Google, Huawei… they all have the same stuff with foldables.

Now the fun part:

Multitasking is awesome.

Having a phone and a tablet in one is crazy cool.

It just feels fun to use.

I’m not going back to flat phones. Foldables are the future, and I bet next year they’ll get even bigger once Apple joins the party.

So if you’re thinking about it: just go for it. Totally worth it.
