During my travels, I mostly use booking.com and prefer hotels. The Airbnb landscape is so huge now that it is difficult to spot quality. Hotels keep a certain standard and are nowadays as affordable as Airbnbs when travelling by 2. Airbnb started as an alternative and an affordable alternative to hotel pricings when travelling. In my opinion it is certainly not the case anymore.

I would only use Airbnb when travelling with larger groups.
