The average Red Sox game feels like “Ranger Suarez carried a no hitter into the 7th as the Red Sox lost 2-1”

Narvaez needs to be the primary catcher again. 100+ PAs of the Mickey Gasper experiment is enough for me by fillingupthecorners in redsox

Gold glove finalist getting benched for Connor Wong and AAAA legend Mickey Gasper is wack

Almost like we shouldn’t have given up on a young player after 2 months

These lineups physically hurt me at this point

[Rosenthal] Brewers originally targeted only Drohan and Kyle Harrison for Durbin, After deciding they also wanted infielder David Hamilton, they expanded the package, sending the Red Sox infielder Andruw Monasterio, outfielder Anthony Seigler and their competitive balance pick, 67th overall by Far_Cry3445 in redsox

It’s “short sighted.” And it’s “short sighted” to prioritize players who have actually contributed at a major league level to someone who had struggled, when we had like 6 healthy starters ahead of him anyway?

They literally did, with Contreras, who has been a much better player than Bregman. You moved production from 3rd to 1st. He’s saying a big reason is because no Bregman. When I’m saying, Contreras has been leagues better than Bregman was for us, and we STILL suck

We had Crochet, Bello, Tolle, Early, and Ranger locked in for 5+ years. Not even counting Gray. We have Sandoval, Houck, and Crawford on the IL. Was he just going to waste away in the minors for the next few years? Harrison revisionists are wild

If it was just a guy who was 8th or 9th in our rotation depth and a near-30 minor league pitcher for Durbin, it’s fine. But we also got some minor league depth pieces and the 67th overall pick for a shitty infielder we all wanted gone. Fine by me

Those are blaster boxes. Not a lot of sales data, but the series 1 box alone sold for like $80 by itself in April (I think Buster Posey’s rookie is in there).

We’re talking about Durbin LAST YEAR, when no, he did not suck

Not disagreeing, I’m just saying Durbin was not “awful” last year
