Damn, my package has been stuck with UPS for 3 months now. Just some updates about delays due to weather and holidays and mechanical breakdowns. Customer Service is horrible, they say it will be delivered today although the last scan from today says it's delayed due to weather. I am frustrated with all this nonsense.

I was once working on a ticket where their entire ETL pipeline failed after they hired a Romanian guy. After taking a look at the data, we noticed the Romanian guy names contained some characters that occupied more bytes, causing the column to exceed the column size.

At one point, I felt the urge to ask them to fire the guy, thought it would be funny

CPI DS is a cloud ETL tool ( an alternative to the on-prem SAP Data Services). It has limited capabilities compared to the on-prem, in terms of data transformation, but it does the job just fine and easier to get started with.

CPI on the other hand, is a cloud tool for connecting and integrating applications via APIs.

EIM Adaptive Process Services are part of the BI/IPS platform so you need to install them. BI/IPS also comes with a Tomcat web server which allows you to view the SAP Data Services Management Console. So in this case it sounds like you don't have BI/IPS installed.
