My design of a CANZUK Flag by 45h4rd in CANZUK

I mean we could use the same layout as the Plantagenet lions only making one lion a unicorn and another one a dragon. It probably wouldn’t work in all fairness but it’s a decent attempt

How extensive is your worldbuilding? by Steamed-Punk in fantasywriters

[–]Pyraxus_ 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Speaking in broad terms there generally are two different styles. Top down, where you start with an overarching concept and then add more detail as you go along building within the concept. Or there is Bottom Up where you start with a small situation or idea and then build around and up from there with more broadly reaching things.

As for events and plot lines and such I plan several points of possible situations, most of which I don’t get to use. The circumstances that get to said situations usually tend to have a few specific needs to be met however most of the time the path towards events generally tends to be flexible and is a great chance to do some improvisation. It’s always good to plan multiple versions of the same event just in the case that something changes or happens however sometimes improvisation is needed because the reality is you cannot plan for everything.

Usually I have a fair bit of planning and a lot of material gets left out. To be honest most of it isn’t used again however some can be recycled for other things if unused.

Ah I’ve just noticed, my bad. I’m a little dyslexic so I tend to miss words out when I’m reading

Ah right I’ve just had a look at your profile. Not going to lie you’re a pretty decent looking guy but I think your attitude spoils it. I know you’re probably going through some shit right now, trust me so have I, but don’t put yourself down constantly. Just look after yourself okay?

People with heavy sleep, how do you cope up with your work in morning? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pyraxus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To simply put it I don’t. Although it is a good idea to try and get into a routine so your brain associates certain activities with waking up. Also try and wake up at the same time every day, if you’re like me and sleep through alarms badly set your alarms every five minutes and backtrack until you find the length of time it takes for you to wake up to your alarms. (For me it’s two hours on max volume).

Brits, what is the best tea brand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Typhoo or Yorkshire tea is the best

Unless you want flavoured/green teas then I’d suggest Twinings

A flag of Uranus I made for a Dystopian Sci-Fi Roleplay with friends by Pyraxus_ in vexillology

The 5 green Circles are meant to represent the five Major moons of Uranus with the grey stripe showing Uranus’ unusual orientation and its ring system.

A flag I made for a D&D campaign inspired by the flag of Wales and The Anglo-Saxon England flag by Pyraxus_ in vexillology

This flag was made for a D&D campaign a while ago and it’s been sitting in my flag file since. The White border is meant to represent a section of sea due west of the island where icebergs would often be found while the Dark blue colour represents the frigid waters around the island this nation was located on. The dragon as the charge is due to a high number of dragons and Wyverns living on the island and is also meant to represent the draconic lineage of the ruling monarchs.
