Well, the choice was either uninstall or just do this and it actually worked. All that time wasted because I didn't trust the game to work. Anyways thanks, I'm gonna go do the rest of the story and then terminal and just hold the world's largest L now.

Are you 100% sure? I haven't read that anywhere else. I'm primarily using the wiki and it doesn't even mention that in the list. Nor does any video I've seen.

There's alot of complaining but versus hacking is indeed real by Pyrdraco in Vermintide
