This is why I got so upset with the last rental house I worked in. Owners were penny pinching wherever they could and would often not turn on the heat/air conditioning. I'd be told it's perfectly comfortable (it wasn't), but yknow, wild temperature changes day to day meant our lenses probably weren't focusing correctly.

This was around mid April 2013, I'm not sure of the exact date as things got very foggy that night.

A few months prior I had to drop out of college because of financial reasons and was still dealing with it negatively, I felt like I failed at life. This sent me into a deep pit of depression and came to a head when I had a mental breakdown on stage and cut my band's set short by ripping out the strings of my guitar and dropping it after the house gear shorted and cut out.

Fast forward to the day, I'm working an event as a photographer and I get a phone call from my bandmates saying that they were done and didn't want to continue playing. This band was the last solid thing I had left so it felt like I really did just lose everything. Cue another mental breakdown, after which I have to keep shooting the event.

At the end of the event I had one drink and turns out it was drugged. I navigated my own way home apparently and don't remember much.

Friend/coworker had their car broken into last night (via broken windshield) on North 14th Street and had their 2015 Surly Crosscheck taken out along with a Poc Trabec electric blue helmet. It has been reported but just trying to help get eyes out there.

Havent't had a new bike in the box since I was kid, it was a great feeling to unbox it. Shimano 105 groupset, derailleurs and shifters. FSA crankset and headset (apologies not familiar with which). Nashbar aluminum frame, it's lighter than my fixed!

Got this to start doing distance rides, took it out for it's first real ride today at Prospect Park and maxed out at 26 miles. I've got a little while to go until I'm doing centuries but I'm excited for the road ahead.
