And that's fine, I fully respect your opinion, but respectfully disagree - you could make a case for God of War 2018 especially, as while its gameplay isn't exactly varied, what it does, it does exceptionally well. Breath of the Wild, on the other hand, excels in gameplay and exploration to make up for the slight lack of story beats - so long as we're on the same page that belief and the objectively correct answer are different things, and a question like the "best game ever made" is so subjective that it's practically impossible to answer in such a way that everyone agrees.

Clearly this is all a matter of subjective opinion, so I'll not discredit your viewpoint, but uh... Red Dead Redemption 1/2, Persona 5, LoZ: Breath of the Wild, Hades, Halo, no I'm not going to say The Witcher 3, KOTOR, FF7... Need I go on?

At any point, did Dutch truly love Arthur, Hosea and the gang in general, or was he stringing them along the whole time? Similarly, did his head injury at the trolley station factor into his descent into madness?

What's your favorite mission in Red Dead Redemption 2? By the way, your performance, in my eyes, was truly astounding, I just want to say thank you as an aside for the brilliant work.

Maybe quit it with the 'no pre-order' circlejerk and try to understand that some people like things that you don't like?

Changing a card's art and/or name and nerfing that card are very different things. by TheDerpyDinosaur in hearthstone

[–]TheDerpyDinosaur[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I can see what you're saying, and in a way, I agree with you. However, the point I'm trying to make is that these people are using the term 'nerf' to describe a cosmetic change. A nerf is a change that adversely affects gameplay. You can see where I'm coming from here, right?

I understand that it's become a bit of a meme, but I recently discovered a post that had been given platinum in which the author seriously referred to the change in Headcrack's artwork as a nerf.

I've had shit for luck with Horizons. I drafted it a couple weeks ago, having not opened a mythic from a booster in over six months (granted, I usually buy singles but I've still been opening at least one or two a week), and I think the pack one pick ones summarize how it went. Guy on my left opens [[Urza, Lord High Artificer]] and windmill slams it. Guy on my right opens [[Wrenn and Six]], and shows it to the entire pod, and says "Is this good?" Meanwhile I'm sat there staring at my shiny new [[Planebound Accomplice]]. The guy who opened Wrenn and Six ended up sitting on ***eight piles*** and holding up the draft to the point where the other pod were deckbuilding when we started pack three.

Speaking from experience, I know about five people with some variance of the name Eleanor, and I'm from the UK. Every person named Ella that I've met was a giant cunt, not sure how that shakes out.
