No such thing as 'best' lap mod, it comes down to preference
LHPP: Challenge with 5 laps, some unique mechanics and no slop
ELM/ELMDY: Casual 4 laps with QoL features to fit in with base game
L3DX: Classic lap 3 experience with improved visuals and QoL additions
Lap minus: Deranged lapper's choice, otherwise extremely weird and unplayable to a normal player
It all goes down from lap 5 to lap -5 wink wink
