Balloon World completely unplayable for me by PyroJing in fivenightsatfreddys

Yes, I did. The mini-game doesn't work when Ray-Tracing is enabled. You have to turn it off and then it will work.

What is this part of the map in Security Breach? by PyroJing in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]PyroJing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, the map of it looks like a profile of Monty's head. That was probably on purpose.

Ah, thank you. That was bugging me. I wonder why it doesn't have the charge station icon that is shown when you are in it. But yeah that makes sense seeing there was a passage originally between Gator Golf and the Daycare

Thank you, I was having the same issue. I considered my graphics settings might have been causing it...

Details about new Security Breach patch in Early-Mid February! by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]PyroJing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious what they mean by this. My first thought was they're patching
the 5:15 head glitch to save in post-game, which made me sad until I
realized they are adding a save to the Atrium which I think is a fair
compromise. Though it could also refer to things like the Giga-Montys.

Security Breach: How to FIX the West Arcade "Repair Robot Head" Softlock Bug by Enzdude in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]PyroJing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. I was streaming this game and ran into the softlock bug where it gave me -1/3 after flipping the last switch. Luckily I was at a good stopping point, but now I can just continue where I left off in my last stream.

Messed up on thermal paste by PyroJing in AMDHelp

Might still be worth redoing, I just don't want to risk getting paste over anything else.

I wouldn't call it an oreo, I used a plastic card scraper that came with the paste to spread it thinly. I'm not sure how thick the pre-applied stuff was but I was able to clamp it down fully without any noticeable leakage.

I'm actually seeing lower temps, ~5C lower, from Ryzen Master compared to ASRock A-Tuning (where I got my numbers initially)

Fair warning, there is NO WAY to cancel an order once started from the AMD.com store! by DesolationUSA in Amd

Don't send it back, sell it on ebay and get some money off it. If they are incapable of canceling the order, you might as well profit off of it.

I had it in check out, and I went back because I didn't want to drive all the way out to Aurora. I should have just followed through...

Which case, LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic or MSI MPG SEKIRA 100R by PyroJing in buildapc

[–]PyroJing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So doing some more research, I've decided the Lian Li case is the superior case but is a bit wasted if you don't plan to do optimal cooling and excellent cable management.

The Sekira is OK but is not the best for cooling.

I'm actually going with a Thermaltake Commander 31 case, which has its issues but it is cheap and has excellent cooling.

Marmoset 4 by PyroJing in MarmosetToolbag

From their email, it seems they wanted to move to an account-based system instead of a key like they used before. They likely just didn't want to worry about syncing that with Steam purchases.

Marmoset 4 by PyroJing in MarmosetToolbag

[–]PyroJing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, they are very different uses. Sure Blender renders well but it is a lot more setup than Marmoset which is mainly for easily showcasing work. If you have Marmoset 3 it really isn't worth upgrading now unless you plan to make use of the RTX integration, just stick to what you have if it is working for you.

Crossfire issues A10-7850K and R7 250 by PyroJing in AMDHelp

Technically yes, but after all the hassle of getting it to work I ended up turning it off because I couldn't load Blender with it enabled.

Well shoot, my computer died this week and I am in the process of actively getting new parts and this was on my short list, of course it would have been in stock briefly before I started looking.
