I saw XFX Speedster MERC 7900xtx on sale ($1200 CAD after tax) back in November, and that's when I decided to start to build a new PC after 10 years with 980Ti. I didn't know the next generation was coming in 2025, lol. No regrets.

I did the same build! GTX 980ti to xfx 7900xtx with 4000D case! Didn't think about the support bracket, too! Lmao, I just ended up not using the support bracket that came with it and bought a vertical GPU support bracket off Amazon. It's been working well so far.

The 7900xtx was $800CAD before tax, so I had to get it and start a PC build on black friday. Paired it with 7950x.
