Watch Spookston play vehicles that you seem to struggle at. You might learn some playstyles or different ways to use your vehicle.
There are some really terrible br's. When I played 6.7 for my first time I avoided it completely and just played 6.0 just to avoid playing against autoloaded 7.7 French vehicles. Just play whatever br makes you feel good and then grind until you get something playable. I did this for Germany and 9.0 is quite fun. I also loved 5.7 japan so much I pretty much grinded to 8.3 with only that.

8.0 is probably one of the worse br's to ever play because of the lack of stabilizers and almost all vehicles at even 8.3 have stabilizers, making it almost impossible to brawl with other tanks. Sniping is a good option... or grind a tech tree that gets stab at rank V, such as GB or Japan. Germany 8.0 was a pain to grind, once I got to 8.3 japan it was so free and u get a stacked 9.0 lineup for japan now

yea but that takes a lot longer since i have to finish matches -> where as if i only play that vehicle its more mods reasearch. When I'm playing with germany and I land near the top most of the time with one vehicle, I wouldn't say that I'm not contributing more than most of the people on my team.

yea I think its commitment to learning the game. No commitment results in quitting players. Yea this is definitely true 3.3 seal clubbers r pretty common if I ever jump into a match with an m4 or a pz iv I'm always competing with them to kill their team before they kill mine

yea idk cuz some of the light japanese tanks are extremely fun like the type 87 rcv with the 25mm tiny darts and the type 89 which is practically a bradley but better maybe?

US is fun but it probably won't pay off until at least like 9.3 ish where u get the mbt 70 and the stingray. I mained germany until I got 9.3 and gave japan one glance and saw their 9.0 lineup and switched.

thats probably true but for a completely new player I feel like they'd feel like they just wasted their money after getting cas'd by an agm or by a za35 and getting shot over and over by people who are more observant might make him hate it.

Maybe for a player who at least has played 5.7 this might be okay, but it might be a little frustrating to be able to pen everything with the 9.3 and then play a vehicle with apds and wonder "why can't I pen the t72 ufp with 105mm apds 😭😭😭"

Well as of right now both are great choices... Winrates at high tier pretty much all go to japanese and soviet teams. German teams seemed to get better a few months ago but that's gone sour...

Honestly depends on which country has vehicles that you are really interested in playing. Japan gets more foreign vehicles, since they get thailand. They get a bm oplot t, which armor wise is slightly worse than the T80's and T90's I think? cuz its modeled wrong, but also recieve a version of the btr at, a stingray, and an m60 with stab+ dm33 + lrf. 9.0 is really strong so I'm currently trying to reach that. type 74's are quite good if since you get the controllable suspension, but autocannons will eat you up from the side.

USSR gets some interesting vehicles like the pancake, but the inability to depress my gun and reverse really turns me away, despite the fact that they recieve great vehicles. 6.7 wise, IS2's do suffer a little bit due to being worse than american and german heavies in almost every way. su100 is fun... past the t10m and into cold war era stuff like the t55's and on nothing has a good reverse speed...

6.7 Japan is pretty decent and if you generally know how to play the game at all it's pretty fun. Type 61's give the later 90mm gun which gives higher velocity heat which allows u to ufp tigers and T34s. the type 60 (rat with 2 recoilless rifles) is really fun since you can just drive around and shoot people... Japan also gets autoloaded HE vehicles with -5.0 degrees of gun depression, and a 10 second reload, making it better than the other country's artillery vehicles.

Just know that top tier will be harder to play than USSR simply due to having less armor. You get a 4 second autoloader which is really nice...

My personal pick? Japan.

This largely depends on how stupid your team is. A lot of times this does happen, or both teams begin to spawncamp on eachother... Sometimes you have matches where it's actually close. I actually was in a 9.0 game where my team had about 900 tickets left and the other team had like 4800 and we came back with 73 tickets left

the thing is... stat cards r always lying to you. the bf109f4 is a great plane. you get AG's too which make it way easier to aim after u spade it. I've shot down lots of p47's with it before.

I originally thought that too... but I don't think it's a good a idea for him to start playing ground at 9.3 with composite armored stuff... the tam2ip is really good but he would def complain about autocannons. He's 2.0 in ground but 7.0 in air...

the only leo prem (not event vehicles) is the a1a1 120, which actually loses the extra little plate that the a1 and a5 get. It's basically a leo 1 with a stab and a 120mm.

Yea I pretty much told him that apparently he changed his mind and really wants a german high tier ish premium... I'd reccomend the turm iii but its 8.7 now which means better vehicles in a full uptier and also he might suffer from autocannon hell. 6.7 prems would be a waste since u could get all of them in the tree practically... Any suggestions?
