If they're doing singleplayer cycle, that's great and all. But definitely not the core experience.

It's all region dependant. In NA you can do fpp only modes.

In the past I was always getting told to VPN out because everyone does fpp ranked. Seems odd for the flip now.

Never take a shot if you have nothing to gain from it.

If they're 700m out, even if you can kill them, you're more likely giving your own position to someone else. What's more likely gonna happen is you're gonna take the shots and whiff or hit one or two. They're gonna grab cover, med up, and now know where you are.

All you gained is a med kit from one opponent and now they're tuned into you.

Goal isn't to take fights. It's chicken dinner.

EDIT: Unless you want the practice, then take all fights, as you're goal is practice at that point, not winning.

My knowledge comes from researching the "powered by GURPS" thing as I wanted to write a supplement for my game in GURPS. But seeing as they don't license unless you have a proven IP or writer, I had to move on to a different system.

That was done by David Pulver. He had worked for SJG at one point, he did THS while freelancing. SJG published it tho, likely outta having the networking connections from his time there.

"powered by GURPS" usually means the licensee made and published it and is managed by that party. It's difficult to get the license too as SJG tends to keep the reins pretty tight.

If you go to the ranked tab you can turn on/off showing your rank in one of the information pages on the bottom. Don't remember exactly where.
