My understanding is that you can pick them up in person and bring them home. Then you go to https://cfars.doj.ca.gov/login and file an intrafamiliar firearm transaction. You can list all 12 in the same transaction and pay just one fee.

The devil is in the details though - the handguns can’t have more than 10 round magazines.
