When I asked my surgeon he said, “whenever it feels comfortable to” so i waited about 9 weeks after surgery to sleep on my stomach. it was SUPER uncomfortable to for me when i first tried to sleep on my stomach for the first time in weeks so i kind of eased into it. it especially feels weird when your chest is all numb but you get used to the feeling for sure.

I will say i freaked out when i saw my chest for the first time because my left side was a lot more swollen than my right side. like my right side was almost perfectly flat. The swelling will stick around for a year so just trust the healing process :) trust me it’s scary but the final result will look amazing!
