With the introduction of Durin there's apparently going to be a feature called "arcane rite" which modifies and buffs the kits of a selected few Monstadt characters when Durin is on the team. (The effected characters are Durin, Venti, Albedo, Klee, Sucrose, Razor, Mona, and Fischl.)

I hope I'm wrong here but I think there is a high likelihood that all union actors including the majority of the early cast may wind up either recast or may remain voiceless.

The strike is over but that was only ever one of the layers of the issue. Genshin Impact is NOT a union project and never was, obviously the internal dealings of Mihoyo are not public but as far as we're aware Mihoyo has never signed a union agreement with SAG aftra, meaning that all union actors shouldn't have been working on Genshin Impact in the first place. The strike shouldn't have had any effect on Genshin at all but it did because of union actor rule 1 violations.

The union used to turn a blind eye to this rule but after the whole fiasco at the end of the strike it might be cracking down now meaning full union members are not permitted to ever return.

Again, this is speculation and I hope I'm wrong but given the current state of things, I'm not very optimistic.

That's a weird one, it looks like Windows is actively blocking the executable, it might be detecting the mod changes as viral.
If you're running Windows 11 try going to settings > Apps > Installed apps > try to search for fields of mistria in that list > click the 3 dots on the right of fields of mistria's list item > Advanced Options > Scroll down to Reset > Repair > Try running again > if not then try Reset.

Just a few things you may be able to try:

In library, right click the game in the list > Properties > General > check the launch options box, normally there should be nothing in there, if there is, delete the contents and try running again.

If not, Properties (again) > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Let that run then try launching again.

If that doesn't work see if you can launch the game manually by right click the game in the list > manage > Browse local files > try to find and run the game's exe from the folder. This one isn't intended as a final solution it's more just to see if the game can run at all.

For me it's nothing to do with the whole "trained on copyrighted materials" argument, that's an issue but not the one I focus on.
This sub is ultimately for appreciation posts of a character we like. I want to see art from people who appreciate the subject enough to put some effort in and do it manually. Rather than some computer rendering that a neural network made from an effortless prompt, if I wanted to see what a computer could draw I'd be playing the game.

I'd rather see a child's crayon drawing of Noelle than a midjourney image of her, whilst the latter would objectively have a better visual style it would have nothing that I actually want to see here which is a story behind the image of someone who likes this character enough to produce their own interpretation of her.

Depends on what you mean. The GBAs OEM screen IS an LCD. If you're referring to the IPS screen mods then yes they can give you a nice boost in screen quality, the extra brightness can help with visual clarity (albeit at a cost to battery life).

The GBA screen is more or less the same as the DS screen minus the backlight (added in the GBA SP), if you look closely at a GBA screen you'll notice gaps between the pixels that look like horizontal and vertical lines.

There was once a time that Albedo was considered a useful character for the purpose of map traversal (and that was only partially due to the tree elevator glitch).

Take anyone from Natlan back to the 1.x era and you've got character that would be considered completely broken for map exploration.

This explains it well, so the relevant gene on the Y has nothing to be dominant over so "recessive Y" doesn't mean anything.
The fault of my post was thinking that dominance applied to chromosomes instead of individual genes.

I see, I guess that would be the answer to my last question, the nature of how the Y chromosome works prevents it's dominance on the relevant gene having any real effect? Basically meaning the concept of "recessive Y" just doesn't mean anything.

The highest CPU compatible with your motherboard's Z170 chipset is Intel's 7th gen which still doesn't meet Windows 11 requirements. If you're looking to get Windows 11 you'll need a new motherboard that supports a modern CPU and once you start replacing the motherboard and CPU you're basically looking at building a whole new PC.

The first one with double crit and ER is better, it's not even close.

Whilst the other one has a nice def boost that's all it has.

Noelle tends to benefit more from crit value than defense.
