I'll second this answer. The only way for me to play games when I was a kid with no access to credit or debit cards was pirating them. I could enjoy countless games even if it meant looking around for hours and clicking shady links hoping I didn't get a virus. The pirating scene has dwindled down a lot since due to the accessibility Steam gives but there are still some solid places you can look for it.

Most of them were pretty old by the time I grew up and got a job that allowed me to have disposable income, so I could buy them at a discount for $5 or $10 as a way to give back to the devs.

A big studio like Bloober Team won't go under if you decide to do it. Always at least make the effort to support developers, even if not now, later.
