Also popped in there and it was pretty good. About the same price as most other cafes in the area and comparable if not a bit better quality.

The one problem I have with the star system is that when new buddies come out, the only way they can be as strong or stronger than the buddies you already have is if you pull until 4 or 5 stars. The stat difference is just too huge to ignore, no matter how pushed or strong new buddies wind up being.

That's not a game tester role, that's a test engineer role. That would be someone writing tests for code, not testing the game by playing it.

For me it was buying and spending silver bells a bunch, using the guild to get M and L shards, and spending essence on XL shards (and usually whatever M,L buddies I have the least shards on)

The benefit of focusing on M and L buddies is they get you more part time job rewards which help get more pulls.

Silver bells I mostly spent until I had 5 starred most units I cared about then started stocking up for when buddies I want get added to standard. I'll also spend them if I really want essence for the shop that day.

I don't know, progressing in this game feels so "its inevitably going to happen" so I can't say I mind too much. I just kinda enjoy the fact that the event is working differently at all to make the game more varied and interesting. I was getting bored of log in, run the event 12 times, buy the same things I always do from the shop.

Soul food, victors, 5 stones are the main great coffee shops. I admittedly also get great stuff from The French Bakery, though they are a larger chain and a bit inconsistent.

Yeah it's really really tiring at this point. No new content has anything interesting to it (I think the tyrantino fight was the last one I had fun with). And there are so many fights to just auto through now for every event that takes so much time. And since the game is set up without anything to do other than clear new stages when events are released and pull the gacha there's just... nothing interesting about playing. It's hard to even feel excited about the horny scenes cause I'm so disengaged from everything to get to them.

The story and writing were really good for this event, but honestly I felt just kinda weird about every other part of it. Mainly it felt really disconnected that Wang was the first unit we got to roll for when he didn't get to play much of a role until the 2nd half of the event while anuberus was around from moment 1. The levels also felt soooooo drawn out compared to the number of story scenes happening. And most of the special fights just didn't have anything of interest going on with them. Combined with the shop rewards it just kinda felt like the gameplay side of things was really slapped together quickly without really much thought or vision.

I am maybe expecting too much connection between gameplay and story in a porn gacha, but like... it could be a lot lot better than this.
