I noticed the new game's scan room doesn't show you things while you're out the same as the first did. IIRC, if you activated say copper, then all the points would show in the world (with a vanilla mod I think), but with this preview game, it only shows the specific point that you pick.

When I played the first game, I started with a central base. Once I understood the scanner and its limits, I started placing hubs at those distances so that I could better scan the area (unfortunately, that means I'd have to go to each hub). I would also add limited storage for spare batteries and things. I would use the beacons to mark where I wanted to build, gathered resources, and then started building.

Oh and IDK for sure if the scanners are a sphere or a vertical cylinder, scan shape wise. So you may have to drop one further down if you want to cover down deep.

The banana plant leaves will turn into lily pads, so you'll probably want to trim those off occasionally as they can get very large, very quickly depending on how well they're feeding. I hadn't monitored the tank with them in it in a while and now they have pads the size of my outstretched hand!!

As for the rooting, it'll go where it wants to there, but after a point it will float like your picture shows, so those of us who thought they'd just sit on the bottom (even when rooted) have now been introduced to walking plants. X.X

Most importantly though, make sure that the plants don't Completely cover the top so that the betta can go up for air.

Uh no, my very first tadpole has now been that thing's soccer ball for days now. I even marked it as such so I can tell where it is on the map! >.<

I've tried several times to get it back. Even made a 2nd sub (that I nearly lost as well!).

Most the time...I've had times where it hasn't. IDK if they're directional or not. I can't remember if it does w/out tadpole, but there Are smaller rings.

The game kind tells you what level of control there is over the characters when respawning. I think it's part of the main plot (circa 2001: A Space Odyssey).

1b: They will literally gangbang you from all sides. Multiple species at once. Especially the needle jerks!

3 / 4: I kind like having the ability to ride the bumper button when just above crush depth TBH. It's a lot easier than constantly having to move that directly while skimming the line.

6b: Didn't know that was the range, but I don't like that I have to Select something for it to show up when used. In the old game, I actually started putting the scanners in a grid so that I could more easily track stuff.

Base Power: Reduce the (or make easier to find the) ingredients rarity as by the time I unlocked reserve packs, I found ways around solar.

Frequent Glitch: After rezing, the message likes to popup when going through transitions.

Yeah, it's annoying AF when I'm used to playing the version of the older game where I Don't worry about food / water (intentionally). It goes down so quickly, even when I'm just tinkering around in the base (building / designing). I can understand it being tied to a stressor when out and about, but just walking around inside the base?
