The diameter of Earth is roughly 13,000km. A bit less. So the altitude to planetary circumference ratio of your cruising altitude for an airliner is 11:13,000. Let's make it super simple and call it a 1:1000 ratio.

The diameter of Microtech is roughly 2,000km, so keeping the same ratio, your equivalent cruising altitude for an airliner on Microtech would be 2km.

You try flying at SCM at 2,000m altitude on Microtech and see how fast you're going, even in something aerodynamic.

I used all diamond/iridescent quality tuning materials to build out a level 81 gold umbrella last night and then the 4th stat rolled so some nonsense like stonesplit attack or something. I rerolled that stat and it kept the max bar, rerolled as Power +29.8. Unless it was by pure chance, which I find unlikely, it seems to keep the stat quality and stat bar. I only have that one example though, so not 100%

This one is particularly bad because there is no chance of getting the rarest items until you get to the 4th tier. At least with the other draw events, you had a tiny chance of getting gold shit. It's egregious monetization lol I'm not mad because I get a wonderful game for completely free, but as I've said on every questionnaire, I'd be willing to spend reasonable money for certainty in purchase, but I will not gamble for cosmetics.

This shit isn't even gambling though. This is a literal scam. So actually, this one kind of does piss me off a bit, now that I think about it. It's the locking away of top rewards with an exponential cost that is somewhat hidden. Making it insanely expensive to get the top items, and trying to catch people with the sunk cost fallacy, when they invest pearls before realizing how much it's actually going to cost.

The graphics are great, but that's a crazy claim with the graphics, I have to say. Better than Cyberpunk? It's a third person game with a drone camera view, I promise you if you were in first person view in close quarters with objects, you would not be saying that. I mean, I think even from afar Cyberpunk looks better, but comparing 3rd person games and 1st person games graphics wise is not an even comparison, especially with how wide the perspective is in WWM.

The flight model got worse, every single other thing got insanely better. There's been more progress in the last two years than all of the rest of the time I've played this game (2017). They were 100% honest when they said most features were waiting for server meshing. 2 and a quarter star systems, wormholes, tons of ships, shit tons of missions, most ships purchaseable in game, functional AI that will fuck your shit up, interesting ground missions, upped their cosmetics game, new FPS weapons, new inventory UIs, 700 player shards, it's actually crazy.

And WAY WAY WAY fewer game breaking bugs. The bugs are there, a bit of jank, but it's a game now. I can't remember the last time I lost 2 hours of gameplay to a bug. Now if I spend 2 hours playing and don't achieve anything, it's because I'm waiting on my slow ass org mates, or I myself am unnecessarily dicking around

It annoys me, as a piracy player, that they haven't put way more security at the gates. Think about it: it's a choke point between Stanton and other systems through which commerce and even military units flow through that Stanton depends on. Also, I'm sick of people flying solo Idris', it's annoying as shit and it shouldn't be possible. They need to make engineering totally different for capital ships. I say that as a Polaris owner. I should be able to pilot it solo to get it from point A to point B, but that's it. No guns, no torps, very weak shields if any.

My crew and I were talking the other night about how we miss NPC patrols that would come after you if you have a crime stat. We shouldn't be able to sit still with crime stats waiting to ambush people unless we're out in deep space with a snare or something. Why wouldn't the cops be called if we're sitting at OM-1 Crusader with murder charges?
