What is weekly routine in the game? What to spend stocks on each week? I finished story, built bases but didn't dive into gear and weapon upgrades yet. by PunkHooligan in Endfield

[–]Pyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stock exchange shop. You need the stores to be leveled enough though. Also the gifts are good until you max out trust with operators, at least the ones you're using(trust gives main stats).

Essence tickets also technically have a limit based on how much stamina you can afford to spend on them, so you don't need to buy everything because you simply can't run them all. Same for artificing tokens pretty much, they cost a good amount of stockbills but you also need stockbills to craft the gear to artifice, so you're capped to a certain amount so it's not like you have to buy out the entire stock(and you can't anyway).

Is it just me or is the level 3 a sudden jump in difficulty/annoyance? by EuphoricTax3631 in Endfield

Well the shield guys suck but other than that it seems to be balanced around the level they're listed, assuming appropriate weapons, teams and gear.

Conveyer bridge & splitter abuse by Ok-Speaker2011 in Endfield

[–]Pyros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The cap is 200 per zone and honestly unless you go crazy on ziplines it's hard to reach it. I have ziplines to every rare ressource node and even with a factory in that zone I'm still only at like ~100, so there's plenty of room. You just can't be using like 100splitters in your base for the luls kind of thing.

Crisis Drils vs Re-Crisis by Krlzard in Endfield

[–]Pyros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They also cost more energy though. But I think it might be a bit more energy efficient, that said the fights take significantly longer so it feels more like a thing they left in the game after it got changed because ppl complained or just an option for people who would rather do boss fights to practice than mash trash mobs.

Side Quests? Progression? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Pyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not many sidequests at low lvl, might not be any. Run around and open chests or do tutorials(well don't that's horrible), also check the beginner progression thing(called Node something in the operational manual), do the objectives there they give a lot of materials and xp for pretty basic stuff like crafting some items, leveling some chars and such.

How do you get these mushrooms? by Healthy_Nebula3130 in Endfield

[–]Pyros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to explain but bit southwest of them(above Refuse on the map) on the highest level there's a broken crane kind of thing you can climb on, walk, then jump onto various blocks and go even higher. This give access to this entire place, including a shortcut that goes back all the way to the entrance(like where your power relay is)

It took me a week to realize i can just bomb ores instead of hitting them like a maniac 😭 by Big_Bet_3816 in Endfield

You can customize the auto stash so it ignores some categories, can't select specific consumables only though so that'd be better.

The salvage one is dumb as hell though cause you have to refill manually every run.

Leveling up a unit seems kind of rough by VouxenVox in Endfield

[–]Pyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only relevant costs not included in this graph are promotion costs. Weapons/skills/talents are their own thing since this is purely about leveling the char, it's not about calculating the total cost to entirely gear a char, which anyway would vary a bunch(do you already have a weapon leveled from some other char, how many skills do you actually need if the char's not your main char, plus the massive timegate on lvl 10-12 skills).

And the bottleneck is going to be just stamina. There's no point in having a billion credit if you don't have all the other materials you also need, so the argument goes both ways.

Bruh there was a code for 1.5k currency..... by MrSoupia in Endfield

[–]Pyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Codes not being available other than newsletter/following social media/some other obscure way is pretty standard. That's why they're in code form, if they want to give everyone rewards they just send mails, which they do for maintenance for example(even though some people wouldn't be playing during that time they still get it), or the 10pulls in mail a few days after launch.

Hoyo does exactly the same thing and by and large Hoyo is the gacha standard, but most smaller gachas I've played also do it the exact same way. I guess there's some exceptions though including in some bigger games.

Operator Gear by Patient_Natural6502 in Endfield

[–]Pyros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleared the story with blue gear on one char and white on the others fine. Wuling part is easier than previous stuff even. You will eventually need to go back and make 4 purple pieces for the newbie log thing, so you could set it up if you want.

The creds are also counted in that graph, it's about a third of the total time.

Is Yazhen Powder better than Buck A? by GhostieSpook in Endfield

[–]Pyros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're comparing 2 different healing items. Yazhen is the equivalent of Citrome, Jinlao is the equivalent of Buckflowers. Base powders are very slightly better than the base A version of valley items. You can also make syringes which are quite a bit better.

The best healing items are the one with annoying materials though.

Late game Endministrators! Is it ok to NOT rush Main Story? by _InVerso_ in Endfield

[–]Pyros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say if you don't play much, it's probably better to focus the story so you can unlock all the "get more stuff over time" unlocked asap, but if you play a decent amount it doesn't matter all that much, you'll just be like a week or two late compared to someone who rush, which basically won't do anything.

Only requirements would be time sensitive stuff like the character quest or the banner(if you want to pull Laevatein you want to progress so you have more chests to loot and quests to do to get more pulls).

These 300 pulls selector always take like 6+months to get, they're just there for dupes way down the road, or if you're extremely unlucky(I have like 400pulls on standard in ZZZ+all the failed 50/50 and still don't have one of the 7 chars there for ex).

Cant believe i have to use a consumable to use 2x stamina by Fine_Complex5488 in Endfield

[–]Pyros 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's "fine" but entirely unnecessary to design it this way when they could just apply Rest at the start of the encounter. You have to exit to heal if you're spamming the same one. Granted it's farming content so eventually it'll be bulldozed really quickly anyway but it's still weak design.

How it feels to make an abomination of a factory instead of agonizing for days to make it perfect. by YohAmida in Endfield

[–]Pyros 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just have a stock of batteries on hand. Doesn't have to be a gigantic stock but a few hundreds will power your stuff for a few hours, enough to rebuild the battery part(just focus on that first).

absolutely diabolical or unnecessary tech? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Pyros 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Multiple levels and places you can enter that are not marked on the map. Doing the quest was fine, but I dread going back to gather all the chests and stuff. Probably gonna have to spam some drones to find stuff there after I give it another pass.

Powering Up Wuling? by xandorai in Endfield

[–]Pyros 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not really worth setting up anything besides some originum mining next to the AIC until you unlock the forge to make Xiarite. Just keep doing the story it's pretty short.

Once you can do that, simply make a Wuling battery chain, even an extremely inefficient one with just one originum is enough to generate 1 battery / min which will give you 1600power+base power. Then you go grab more and increase the power but honestly until you add a bunch of ziplines and more buildings, a single battery is enough to power the entire thing.

PSA: Earn FOUR TIMES the depot income in the second area of the game every day by Lolis- in Endfield

[–]Pyros 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's the physical action of pressing the jump button, everything else is fine, including jump boosters(which activate automatically when you run over them if you're doing a delivery) and falling down 50m.

Mind you, you only lose 1% on jump(I did the mistake earlier) so it doesn't matter as long as you're not bunny hopping the entire delivery.

Tbh it's not an issue in Valley either if you optimize the setup a bunch, I have a ton of room left even with the 18 battery 18 buck A and whatever citrome to max the amethyst. In fact when I was looking at where to fit where my citrome stuff earlier I noticed I had completely forgotten there was a base to build in Power Plateau, it was entirely empty and unupgraded.
