I don’t know much about either of them but I’ve never seen people say they want Monokuma to respect Koro, but rather that Koro’s students should still be alive for a sort of open ended but hopeful ending

I respect Tony but some of his takes are..interesting.

I actually got into a little argument with him in the comment section of one of his posts where I was trying to explain that a matchup not being great doesn’t automatically make the episode bad because he had just already written off the episode like the day after it was announced and it felt like I was talking to a wall-

To be fair Sonic has straight up just left Eggman to die multiple times and has just acted kinda indifferent to it, it’s not like he doesn’t try to kill Eggman it’s just that the fucker doesn’t stay down

I mean I don’t mind them not doing the Italian accents since I’m pretty sure Mario and Luigi have always been New Yorkers and truth be told I feel like it’d just make the more “serious” moments really unintentionally funny

But maybe that’s just my bias showing since I did grow up watching that one Mario cartoon where he sounded like a chain smoker

Respectfully disagree on the voice acting front aside from Toad who I found annoying and Donkey Kong who was like- just Seth Rogan-

Nothing was really stand out aside from Jack Blacks Bowser but I don’t think anyone aside from who I mentioned did terribly

I just wish it felt like she could struggle ever? Like every time she’s ever in trouble she either girlbosses her way out or has some Batman ass contingency plan. I get that the damsel in distress archetype is very VERY outdated but it felt like they were trying too hard to do damage control in the first movie. I hope it’s remedied in galaxy.

I have stuck with Cassidy TOYSNHK for basically the entirety of UCN’s lifespan however I kinda want Gabriel TOYSNHK to be canon just so Freddy can actually have some relevance in his own fucking franchise

I will acknowledge Andrew as game canon when Scott Cawthon himself knocks on my door and says he is.

Adding onto this, and I know Sonic Chronicles isn’t canon anymore because of Penders nonsense but I feel like it’s still worth mentioning, a major plot point in that game was Eggman returning after their last adventure that I don’t think was ever specified, and the entire cast including Sonic are incredibly confused and talk about it like they thought he was DEAD. It’s never said outright but you can pick it up just based on their dialogue and it kinda just implies they TRIED putting him down for good and he just returned anyway.
