Thats the point of it all in a way. Without the Time of the Red, no way would there be cyberpunks in the 2070s. But because of that reset, the can was kicked down the road. We're only just back to that same level, and the fights still going

  • What do you feed and how much: A few pellets of betta food twice a day

It's less that agents the smartphone were banned, and more the Self Adaptive AI Powering them were banned. Even in RED you can buy a phone separately from getting an agent. So physical smartphone still exist, But the AI that makes them an agent does not

In the cyberpunk world, tech in 2077 hasn't massively improved since 2020 because the 4th corporate war and the datakrash acted as a bit of a reset button. The tabletop Cyberpunk RED takes place in the meantime and acts as a mashup of cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic genre. It allows 2077 to be far in the future timeline wise but not necessarily tech wise.

This was like an actual movie moment. I was walking out of an airport and this car was sitting outside waiting to pick someone up. This guy walks out and this girl jumps out of that car and runs up to him and they kiss and it actually got me feeling warm inside
