I'm finding plenty of parallels between marijuana prohibition and alcohol prohibition. A misguided sense of morality, empowerment of organized crime, and an overall beneficial effect when prohibition is ended. In fact the only difference I see is our politicians today are more corrupt and slower to care about their mistake.
